As Britney Spears comes to terms with her split from Sam Asghari, the star’s estranged family are said to be reaching out to offer her their support.
Despite the singer reportedly choosing to cut all ties with her mum, dad and sister Jamie Lynn, a source has exclusively told new that her family will do whatever they can to rally round, and that they didn’t think Sam was a suitable partner for their daughter.
“Britney’s family have been very worried about her. They feared she was heading towards another breakdown and that she might not survive another one. She wouldn’t let them back in – until now,” our source claimed, referring to Britney’s state of well-being during her recent marriage.
The 41-year-old star distanced herself from her entire family after meeting Sam and following the end of her father Jamie’s conservatorship over her, according to our source.
They said, “She stopped speaking to her mum and dad, fell out with her sister and cut off contact with pretty much everyone. Sam became the only man she would listen to.
“Yes, she was in love with him – and she did seem happy at times – but he was not a positive influence on her life.”
Now, with Sam out of the picture and a divorce on the cards, this could open up a line of communication between them all, in particular with mum Lynne.
