Ekin-Su's pain for quake-hit Turkey

Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu has spoken out about her heartbreak over the major earthquakes that ravaged

Turkey and Syria last week, urging the public to support the victims in any way they can.

The London-born Love Island and Dancing On Ice star’s family is from Turkey and she told new,

“I’m devastated by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. I feel heartbroken and lost for words.

“It’s my home and heritage, it’s a very sad time. I want to help and support people in this terrifying time. I want to thank you for all the support from everyone since speaking out and I will continue to keep my followers updated.”

Talking on Sky News, Ekin-Su revealed some of her family have been caught up in the disaster – which at the time of new going to press had killed more than 22,000 people. The 7.8-magnitude earthquake was followed by a 7.6-magnitude quake and series of powerful aftershocks.
