Geri Horner thought she could finally breathe a sigh of relief after her husband Christian was cleared of "coercive behaviour" towards a female colleague last week.
The Formula 1 Red Bull team principal was investigated throughout February after a colleague made the allegations, which Horner vehemently denied.
But while the investigation came to an end, just the day after, a file containing text messages and photographs purporting to be the alleged evidence in the investigation was "leaked" by an anonymous account online.
Christian released a statement in response, once again denying the allegations but refusing to comment on the anonymous leak. It read, "I will not comment on anonymous speculation, but to reiterate, I have always denied the allegations." And a source tells new that Geri has been left feeling very "hurt, unsettled and insecure". They added, "She's putting on a brave front but these leaked text messages have put a strain on things again and she knows everyone will keep talking about the situation. She felt like they had got over the worst of it and was elated when Christian was cleared, but things just aren't going away.
