Jorgie Porter adores being on camera so she embraced filming her new series Drama Queens until she realised she was ovulating and a TV crew were in her bedroom.
The Hollyoaks star has signed up for ITVBe's new reality show alongside her soap star pals Ellie Leach, Lucy Fallon, Rita Simons, Laura Norton, Roxy Shahidi, Jamelia, Brooke Vincent and Amy Walsh. They'll all be sharing their lives on and off camera.
Jorgie, 36, who plays Theresa McQueen in Hollyoaks, welcomed son Forest in November 2022 with fiancé Oliver Piotrowski. Now she wants to start trying for a second child just as soon as she can get a moment alone with Oliver.
"When they approached me with this I was like, 'Yes! This is my dream come true!"" laughs Jorgie. "I love reality. I love my life. I love showing my life."
Jorgie and Oliver take viewers behind the scenes at Hollyoaks, into their home, and even on a trip to Spain!
"They followed us around in our day-to-day life and work," says Jorgie. "Basically, we got intimate! For example, me and Ollie are on a night away without the baby and we've literally got a camera crew there with us every second of the day. It's absolutely full-on. There's a time when I'm like, 'I'm ovulating!" And I'm like, 'Oh my God, it's the right time to have a baby, what are we doing with this camera crew?""
Jorgie is never shy in front of the cameras, though she admits other members of her family are not used to living life through a lens. "I am fully myself," she confesses. "I love reality, but obviously my family and friends are not TV trained. Ollie gets a bit embarrassed at times and he's like, 'What are you doing?""
