While former TOWIE star Pete Wicks is notorious in the reality TV world for his romantic escapades and bad boy image, it’s his hilarious skits and entertaining podcast, Staying Relevant, that have kept him in the spotlight in recent years. His double act with Sam Thompson is also a hit with fans.
“We always enjoy it and make it fun, so it never really feels like work,” he tells us of their joint podcast.
The 34-year-old also annually takes part in the CoppaFeel! Trek and opens up about getting involved and why he’s keen to spread the word about the important charity.
Here, Pete talks about his chalk-and-cheese relationship with best pal Sam and reveals why, after multiple stints on Celebs Go Dating, he’s “handing over the reins” when it comes to finding love on TV…
Hi, Pete! Celebs Go Dating series 12 has been on our screens. Would you be up for going back to the agency?
I think I’ve actually banned myself from the dating show scene – I think everyone has had enough of seeing me dating people. I’m getting to an age now where it’s time to hand over the reins to younger and better-looking people. I’m past it. I don’t watch any reality TV either and I definitely don’t watch myself on it, I couldn’t think of anything worse!
What about dating off-screen?
