Josie 'puts family first'
Josie Gibson was reportedly disappointed when she wasn't offered a permanent presenting role after Holly Willoughby stepped down at This Morning- but a source has now told new she's come to realise why it was actually the best decision for her and her family.
When Holly Willoughby announced her departure from the show last year, many viewers assumed either Josie or Alison Hammond would take over the presenting job full time. But just a few months later, it was announced that Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard would be taking their places as hosts on the famous sofa.
At the time, bubbly Bristolian Josie, 39, was said to be "gutted" she'd been overlooked for the massive role, as she'd hoped to become "the new Holly". However, in hindsight, it seems the former Big Brother winner has realised it might just have been for the best.
