Martine's son 'her priority' after split

Martine McCutcheon shocked fans when she announced her split from husband Jack McManus after 12 years of marriage, confirming it was his decision to end things.

And now a source has claimed she’s attempting to mend her broken heart by focusing all her efforts on being a single mum to their nine-year-old son Rafferty.

“Martine was totally stunned by the split and although they were having issues, she thought they could get through them. She was desperate to make it work and this has been so tough for her,” a source told us.

image“But her priority is and always has been Rafferty. He has helped her get through this and she is trying so hard to remain strong for him. She also knows it’s important for her and Jack to remain civil for his sake and she’s being comforted by her friends and family when it all gets too much.”

In a statement shared on Instagram, the 48-year-old Love Actually star told her followers, “After much thought and consideration, Jack has decided it’s best for us to separate after 18 years together and I accept his decision.
