The Only Way Is Essex has officially returned to our TV screens for its 30th series (yes, you read that right!) and we couldn’t be more excited – but we’re not the only ones. TOWIE is back with a huge bang as our favourite reality stars jetted out to the Dominican Republic for some well-needed sun, sea and TEA… according to Queen of Essex, Amy Childs. Wearing a gold one-shoulder dress at this year’s launch party, the 32-year-old told new, “There will be more drama, but sometimes that’s a good thing!”
And even the newcomers will be spicing things up this summer, as Junaid Ahmed revealed, “I live and breathe drama – wherever the drama is, I want to be there. I’m not shy to speak my mind when it’s necessary. I’m going to ruffle a few feathers.”
But for Chloe Brockett, this new series is nothing but a clean slate – as she admits she’s past “screaming and shouting” on TV because she “doesn’t want drama with anyone”. We’ll believe it when we see it, Chloe!
We attended the official TOWIE launch party at Aqua Nueva, where we saw the Essex stars dress up to the nines as they came together to reminisce about the show. Here, we speak to Amy Childs and her partner Billy Delbosq, 36, Pete Wicks, 33, Chloe Brockett, 21, James Lock, 35, and Junaid Ahmed, 31, about what we can expect from their time in the Caribbean…
