Nicola Roberts appears to have found her happily ever after as she seemingly confirmed her engagement to semi-professional footballer Mitch Hahn. The Girls Aloud singer joined her bandmates on stage at Brighton Pride earlier this month and flashed a diamond rock on her ring finger, fuelling reports she is set to get married.
A source told new that Nicola, 38, who has been in a relationship with Mitch, 36, for two years, is already thinking about her wedding and is set on paying tribute to her late bandmate Sarah Harding on her big day.
“Nicola is so excited to get married, they are both so happy and she can’t wait to get planning the wedding,” said the source. “She wants all the Girls Aloud girls as bridesmaids and is going to do a special tribute to Sarah during the wedding.”
Sarah died aged 39 in September 2021 from breast cancer. Since then, Nicola and her bandmates Cheryl, 41, Kimberley Walsh, 42, and Nadine Coyle, 39, have been keeping her memory alive with a number of tributes.
The quartet were by Sarah’s side towards the end of her illness, often having sleepovers and meet-ups together, and Cheryl, Nicola, Kimberley and Nadine were brought even closer by the loss.
