Some of Love Island's most memorable contestants are back for a new spin-off that gives them another chance to find romance. Over the next few weeks, host Maya Jama will be welcoming some of the show's biggest names into Love Islands South African villa, including series three's Georgia Harrison, season five's Chris Taylor, and 2021's Kaz Kamwi. Here, we find out why they want another go at the Love Island graft.
GEORGIA HARRISON
Georgia Harrison is heading back into the Love Island villa for its All Stars series. And after a difficult period in her life, she’s ready to meet The One.
Her ex-boyfriend Stephen Bear was sentenced to 21 months in prison last year after being found guilty of voyeurism and sharing private sexual videos without consent. He secretly filmed the two of them having sex and posted it online. Bear is set to be released from jail after serving 11 months of his sentence.
Georgia has since campaigned for improved laws on “revenge porn” and online safety.
“As much as last year was amazing, it’s been heavy at times and pretty serious with all my campaigning work,” says the 29-year-old. “This is the last year of my twenties, so I want to go to the villa and have some fun and hopefully meet someone that I can fall in love with. I’m lucky in the sense that I’ve got everything in my life that I could possibly wish for, apart from love.”
Georgia left the 2017 series with Sam Gowland, but the pair split up months later. This time, she’s hoping her newfound confidence will help find her love.
