'This is not the attention Meghan wants'

Royal expert Kinsey Schofield tells new that Harry and Meghan will be "mortified" by Sasha Walpole's revelations

Most people don’t want to know the details of a sexual encounter their partner had with an ex. But this is the position the Duchess of Sussex found herself in last week when Sasha Walpole spoke out on TV about taking Prince Harry’s virginity.

And according to royal commentator Kinsey Schofield, Meghan could be feeling humiliated as a result.

“I’m sure both Meghan and Harry are completely mortified about this,” she told new.

“I don’t think Harry thought Sasha would ever come forward. She was mentioned so briefly in his book, but she’s come out and exposed it like a full affair. It’s been made a bigger deal than he intended it to be. Meghan will be extremely embarrassed by the response it’s had.”

Kinsey continued, “This is not the kind of attention she wants. I think she thought this book would elevate them and heighten their celebrity status, but ultimately, it’s made them the butt of the joke.”

Sasha was moved to discuss their encounter after Harry talked about it in his controversial memoir Spare, describing it as an “inglorious episode with an older woman” which happened “in a grassy field behind a busy pub”. While Harry didn’t name her, he described Sasha as someone who loved horses and who treated him like a “young stallion”.
