Zara and Mike Tindall enjoyed a day in the Cotswolds' sunshine with their three children, Mia, Lena and Lucas, last week.
The family attended the Festival of British Eventing, held annually in the 700-acre grounds of Gatcombe Park, the estate where the Tindalls and Zara's mother, Anne, Princess Royal, live.
The event, which is in its 28th year, took place on a course designed by Anne herself. Over the course of two days Z it hosted dressage, show-jumping and cross-country competitions, as well as a funfair and inflatables for the youngsters.
Anne, 71, who introduced her daughter to riding at an early age, looked on as regular competitor Zara took part in the dressage phase of the event. Zara's husband of 11 years, Mike, and eight-year-old Mia also cheered her on as she competed on day one of the festival.
And the following day, proud Mia couldn't wait to greet her mum after Zara had completed the show-jumping phase, walking up to her while she was still mounted on her horse, Classicals Euro Star.
Later in the day, after Zara, 41, had changed out of her jodhpurs into a navy polo shirt and casual denim shorts – matching Mia’s outfit – the Queen’s eldest granddaughter had fun in the sunshine with her family.
