It was subtle glamour all the way at the low-key Manhattan wedding of Hollywood stars Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup. In an elegant show of understated chic, the pair posed for snaps on the steps of a New York courthouse just minutes after saying, "I do."
The British-Australian actress, who first found fame in horror film The Ring back in 2002, and the American actor, who recently starred in The Morning Show, rejected glitzy nuptials for a no-fuss ceremony. And the couple chose to release a single Instagram photo of their special day, captioning it with a joyful, "Hitched!".
With her hair styled into a tousled bob, 54-year-old Naomi cuddled up to Billy, also 54, who was dressed in a navy suit and unbuttoned crisp white shirt.
After meeting on the set of Netflix drama Gypsy, the couple started dating in 2017 before getting engaged earlier this year. Keeping the details of their romance - and their wedding - under wraps, they've opted not to speak publicly about their relationship. But once the paperwork was signed and sealed, Naomi and Billy were happy to make their news public.
Among the first to congratulate the bride and groom was Naomi's ex-partner Liev Schreiber, who is the father of her two children Sasha, 15, and Kai, 14.
Together for 11 years before separating in 2016, they're proof that exes can be friends, with Liev, 55, commenting on the wedding photo of Naomi and Billy, "Congratulations!!! Gorgeous!!!"
