In the weeks following Lisa Marie Presley's untimely death at the age of 54, her family members appeared to be a united front. Her mother, Priscilla, and her eldest daughter, Riley Keough, attended a memorial service held in Lisa Marie's honor at Graceland on Jan. 22, and they've both rallied around Lisa Marie's 14-year-old twins, Harper and Finley Lockwood, as they struggled to cope with their monumental loss.
But just four days after the emotional memorial service, Priscilla made a shocking legal move leaving many wondering if the family is at odds over Lisa Marie's fortune and questioning whether Lisa Marie and Priscilla were as close in recent years as they'd let on. On Jan. 26, Priscilla, 77, filed a petition challenging a 2016 amendment that Lisa Marie had made to her will removing Priscilla and Lisa Marie's former business manager, Barry Siegel, as co-trustees and replacing them with Riley, 33, and her son, Benjamin, who committed suicide in 2020. "The current situation with the will being contested is a real mess," says a source. "It's sad for everyone involved."
