Growing up as the lookalike daughter of ’90s supermodel Cindy Crawford, Kaia Gerber, 22, made her modelling debut in a Versace campaign at 10 years old. At 16, she hit the catwalk running and hasn’t stopped working since.

With a packed portfolio of magazine covers and fashion campaigns under her belt, Gerber made her acting debut in the TV series anthology American Horror Stories in 2021 and has now followed up on the big screen with a role in the queer high school comedy Bottoms.

“I play a cheerleader called Brittany but she’s not your stereotypical cheerleader. She’s smart with a very dry sense of humour. I can be dry like her sometimes,” Gerber tells WHO. “She is afraid of doing something that she thinks will make her stand out too much and I can relate to that from when I was in high school. I think trying to fit in is something everyone goes through.”
