THIS HARDWORKING TALENT IS FINALLY GETTING THE RECOGNITION HE DESERVES
SECRET STAR!

Although he’s long been a familiar face, especially to Australian TV fans, Murray Bartlett’s role as a frazzled hotel manager on the edge in the premiere season of the much-lauded anthology series, The White Lotus, cranked his career up to a whole new level.

“One of the wonderful things about an experience like that happening at my age is I’m very aware of the ebb and flow of things,” Bartlett, 51, told People magazine. “I’m much more able to fully be in this moment and enjoy it without stressing out too much. Once you get to a certain age, you’re like, ‘Well, I’ve got nothing left to lose, so I might as well just fully lean into this and love the hell out of it!’”

Bartlett won an Outstanding Supporting Actor Emmy in September – one of 10 given out to the Mike White-helmed series – and didn’t forget his roots during his heartfelt acceptance speech. “I want to thank my mum all the way home in Australia for giving me the most wonderful foundation of unconditional love, and inspiring me to believe that we can all do that for each other,” he said. “So thank you, mum.”
