Critics slam the reality star for grooming daughter North for a life of fame

Mom and daughter were matching in head-to-toe Chanel. “It’s North’s world,” Kim Kardashian captioned the May 12 Instagram post, in which the pair proudly preened for the camera in a series of poses. “I’m just in it.”

But it’s a world Kim definitely helped create, outraged fans argue. “[North is] narcissistic already. Great job, Kim,” wrote one, while another called Kim “Kris. 2.0” in a reference to momager Kris Jenner. “Kim had to know putting North into the spotlight like this would draw those comparisons, and it’s true: She’s grooming her to carry on the family legacy, so to speak,” says a source. “That’s the Kardashian playbook: Fame is the name of the game.”

North was made to play it. “She’s a natural show-off and loves dressing up like Kim and posting content,” the source says of the TikTok star. “At this point, Kim has a hard time stopping her.”

Not that she wants to. In March, the billionaire, 42, applied for trademarks for her daughter for potential future skincare and toy lines. “Kim thinks she’s helping North,” says the source. “If Kim had her way, North would already have her own reality show and a clothing line.”
