For years, WWE star Charlotte Flair has played the role of a villain in the ring. But for WrestleMania 39, she gets to play nice for a change. "For so long, my job has been, Don't like me," says the 37-year-old daughter of legendary wrestler Ric Flair. "I've had to beg people to boo me. I love having the opportunity to be a good guy. I'm soaking it all in." Here, Charlotte, who wed fellow wrestler Manuel Andrade Oropeza last May, talks to In Touch's Fortune Benatar about joining the family business, keeping the memory of her late brother Reid alive (he died of a heroin overdose at age 25 in 2013), and her sweet guilty pleasure.
How are you feeling about your upcoming match against Rhea Ripley?
CF: This is going to be the most exciting WrestleMania for me personally. I'm in new territory. I get to interact with the kids naturally, not being a bad guy.
