They were very fond of bursting crackers on Diwali. This time, too, they had bought a lot of firecrackers before Diwali, but they could not wait! They burst all the firecrackers even before Diwali.
Now their parents were not going to give them the money to buy firecrackers again. But Shubham and Shyam decided to break their piggy banks and use the money to go to the city and buy more firecrackers. A total of ₹767 came out of their piggy banks.
They both decided to go to the city a day before Diwali. The city was far awayso, they decided to go by bicycle and return by evening.
The next day after buying firecrackers in the city, they got late due to the traffic. If they went back via the same long route, it would get dark before they would reach home.
Thinking about this, Shubham said, "Shyam, we should go through the forest. It is the shortest route to reach our village." "But Shubham, while passing through the forest is scary, we could be attacked by wild animals," Shyam said, fearfully.
"You're right, Shyam. But it is still day and nothing will harm us. And we also have cracker pistols, so what are we afraid of?" Shubham said, waving the cracker pistols in the air.
"You are right, Shubham. Even though these are toy pistols, they release firecrackers, how would the animals know if they are real or fake? They will run away in fear as soon as they see the crackers, Shyam chuckled.
"We'll put these pistols in our belts and become true hunters. As soon as we see a wild animal, we'll shoot at it: 'Bang! Bang! And the next moment, they will run away," Shubham said, pretending to aim his pistol.
