There was a large lake near the forest where humans rowed boats. Jiggy watched the boats secretly and was fascinated seeing the people sitting in them. He often expressed his desire to go on a boat ride with his friend, Monty monkey.
"I wish I could ride a boat, too. I want to travel on a boat and go on a long journey. It would be so much fun, Monty. Have you ever been on a boat?" Jiggy asked.
Monty scratched his head and smiled, "I've been on a boat many times. It's a lot of fun indeed. But if you sit in a boat, it will break and drown. I don't think this human boat can handle your weight even if you step on it, let alone go for a ride."
Monty's words made Jiggy a little angry. "I know you're jealous of me, that's why you're saying this. You're my friend. Can't you help me fulfil my dream? You have good connections and friendships with humans. Why don't you ask them to take me on a boat ride?"
"Okay, don't be angry! I'll try talking to them. But I doubt it will work out," Monty said.
"Just try. Who knows, maybe it will work," Jiggy said hopefully.
"I'll find out and let you know," Monty replied and then went to the riverbank.
He waited for the sailors to arrive.
