"Cheeku, what place is this? I have never heard of it before." "Yes, I don't know anything either. Let's go into the town and find out, Cheeku replied.
While they were walking in, they saw a person running towards them.
"Let's ask him," Meeku said.
"Hello! I am Cheeku. Please wait. We want to know about this place," Cheeku called out to the person.
"I can't risk staying here. Honestly, you should run away too. Please leave as soon as possible!" the man warned before swiftly running away.
"What a strange person! Not only did he run away, he urged us to leave too, remarked Meeku.
"He appeared a bit nervous to me. We should listen to him and give up the idea of exploring this town after all," Cheeku said.
"Oh, come on, Cheeku! Regardless of what anyone says, we cannot leave the place without seeing it after coming this close," Meeku said.
Cheeku dissuaded Meeku, but he refused to listen.
Cheeku and Meeku were surprised as soon as they entered Jumble Tumble.
All the townspeople were engaged in peculiar activities. One person played the flute before a buffalo, and another fed ginger to a monkey.
"What on Earth are these people doing?" Meeku muttered in surprise.
"I don't know about that, but staying back here doesn't feel right."
"Now I'm feeling the same," Meeku replied. Just as they turned to leave, they found themselves surrounded by many soldiers.
"We've found the thieves who broke into trader Mulmul's house last night and stole from him," declared one of the soldiers.
"But we just arrived; how could we be thieves?" Meeku asked in disbelief.
"Well, do you think our Commander BumbleHead is stupid that he can't make out whether someone is a thief?" the soldier shouted.
"We traced the thief's footprints where we found you both. There is no doubt that the two of you are the thieves indeed," Commander Bumble Head said confidently.
