I was "Oh no, it is so dark and lonely. This is scary," Dodo thought as he walked.
Suddenly, Baddy fox and Maddy jackal jumped out from behind a tree and blocked his path.
"Hand over all your valuables, or you'll regret it," they growled.
"I won't give my money to anyone! I worked hard in the town for a whole year to save it, and now you want to steal it!" Dodo cried.
"Hahaha! You worked hard to earn it, and we're working hard to steal it from you! Don't say another word and give us everything," Maddy laughed.
"Maddy, stop talking and just grab the money," Baddy said as he grabbed Dodo.
Dodo struggled to free himself, but it was no use. Maddy quickly snatched Dodo's bag and began going through his pockets.
"Hurry up! Why are you taking so long? Someone might come," Baddy snapped, irritated.
"Just a minute," Maddy replied as he continued to empty Dodo's pockets.
"Wow! I was worried I wouldn't get even one catch tonight, and here I have three!" a deep voice suddenly echoed through the air. Baddy, Maddy, and Dodo froze in shock.
"Who are you?" Baddy shouted, not knowing where to look.
"Can't you see me? Oh, wait, I understand. Simple forest creatures like you can't see me. Let me come closer," the voice boomed, and a terrifying figure appeared a short distance away.
"Who is that? Where did he come from?" Maddy asked, nervously eyeing the figure.
"I'm a spirit, wandering for ages in search of prey. Now I've found you, and my search is over," the figure said ominously.
