Jumpy monkey was learning the piano. Not having enough money to buy a piano at home, he worked hard and practised daily on the piano at school.
One day, Charlie told everyone that his brother's daughter was getting married in the neighbouring forest, so he was closing the school for three weeks so that he could attend the wedding.
How can I stay without playing the piano for three weeks? Jumpy thought to himself.
At 5:30 PM, Charlie's brother called him up.
"Yes, all the students have left. After half an hour, I, too, will leave," he said.
But his brother insisted, so Charlie said, "I am leaving immediately," and started closing the school.
While talking on the phone, Charlie also switched off the main electricity switch. He did not realise that Jumpy was inside the school.
"School is now closed, will reopen on the first," was already written on the board outside. Charlie left the school in a hurry after locking it.
After coming out of the washroom, Jumpy was shocked to find all the windows and doors of the school closed. He tried knocking on the door, but it was locked from the outside.
Where is sir? He was supposed to leave at 6 PM. How did he leave so early? I had thought that I would play the piano for half an hour, but now I am locked in school for three weeks! Jumpy thought to himself, feeling scared.
Jumpy quickly checked all the doors and windows of the school, but they were all locked.
He then went to the back door, which had a window that opened into the street behind the school.
When he pulled the latch, it opened easily. Charlie had forgotten to lock that window properly in his hurry.
