Intel's Lunar Lake arrives on the mobile market
The Eagle has landed

INTEL’S renaissance continued with the launch of Lunar Lake at this year’s Innovation For All conference in Berlin (the biggest consumer electronics show in the world, and we were there—see our report, pg. 46). Lunar Lake brings together many of the technologies Intel has been working on over the last few years. We have allnew microarchitectures for both types of cores, and a new GPU using Battlemage (Xe2). There’s a new NPU, embedded memory (a first for Intel), new 3nm TSMC tiles, and more. This is a new chip from head to toe. Every processor launch is hailed as important, but this one has a lot to prove. Billed as the complete package, Intel boldly claims “we nailed it.”
