Once thought of as something for the rich and famous in the West, prenup agreements have come a long way. Simply put, a prenup is a legal document signed before marriage that outlines the allocation of property and other financial assets in a divorce, to ensure an individual's independence regardless of what the future holds. There are plenty of reasons why most of us, even without vast wealth and fame, need to consider a prenup to safeguard ourselves.
