The look: HIGH GLAM
Wear it to: A Night Out
The 'latte makeup' trend is beloved of IT girls such as Hailey Bieber, Sofia Richie Grainge, and, now, Alia Bhatt. Perfect for date night glam, here's how to pull it off.
GET THE LOOK
1 Start by moisturising your face with a lightweight moisturiser or a primer; massage it into your skin.
2 Dot your skin with an illuminating base, and apply it on the high planes of your face – this will help reflect the light.
3 Dab concealer on areas you would like to conceal and tap into your skin with your ring finger – this will give you a natural finish.
4 Gently apply a few strokes of a contour stick around your hairline, against your jawline and right below your cheekbone, and blend.
5 Use a brow spoolie to push your brows up, and then fill in any bare spots.
6 Apply a taupe-hued eyeshadow on the eyelids, and blend a light brown hue over that. Finally, layer a sheer champagne hue over the lids, and apply it on your brow bone as well with a flat eyeshadow brush.
MATTIFY YOUR SKIN WITH LOOSE POWDER BEFORE APPLYING HIGHLIGHTER
7 Use a stippling brush to apply foundation on your skin, dabbing it in for a natural finish.
8 Apply a bit of loose powder to set the face. You want to mattify the skin and have certain areas glowing, so it’s best to apply this before you go in for highlighter.
9 Apply a cream blush on the apples of the cheeks, blending it all the way to the ears.
10 Apply a liquid highlighter on the cheekbones.
