Shishira and Navneeth (@thebackpacksters) are chartered accountants from Bengaluru who left home in May 2022 to travel the world together full-time on a tiny budget of $30/day “for everything – flights, visa, stay, food, sightseeing and local transport.” They share the realities of this incredible journey on their YouTube channel and publish free travel guides on their blog – including the finances around being on this journey. “This budget means we spend many nights in hostels,” Shishira reveals.
