NEW CRIME DRAMA

London Kills

Friday, 1.45pm, BBC1 (box set, BBC iPlayer)

Holby City and Footballers’ Wives star Laila Rouass makes a potent first impression when she joins London Kills as DI Yasmin Rafiq this week.

Called in to investigate a trusted member of the elite London detective squad, Yasmin upsets egos when she arrests DC Rob Brady (Bailey Patrick) for murder in the opening episode. She also finds herself in the middle of a love triangle with DI David Bradford (Hugo Speer) and DS Vivienne Cole (Sharon Small).

Here, Rouass, 48, reveals the twists and turns in the detective drama as it returns with its fourth season…

Does Yasmin make an impactful first impression?
