Now, Prime Video's comedy drama The Sticky has taken that story as the inspiration for a tongue-in-cheek crime caper starring an unlikely gang of robbers.

Tough, middle-aged maple-syrup farmer Ruth Landry (The Good Fight's Margo Martindale) is struggling to make ends meet looking after her comatose husband when she learns that the Quebec Maple Association intends to shut down her farm.
