NEW THRILLER
The Ex-Wife
Sunday, 9pm, Channel 5
A former spouse is a fly in the ointment for a newly married couple in Channel 5’s psychological thriller The Ex-Wife. However, as jealousy, obsession and paranoia take hold, is something more sinister going on?
‘It is really twisty and turny,’ explains star Tom Mison, 41, of the four-part series, which has been compared to Gone Girl and The Girl on a Train.
‘When I was offered the role, I only saw the first three scripts and I couldn’t stop reading them because every 10 pages there was another twist and another turn. It’s the first time I’ve accepted something without having read the final episode.’
