The fractious but loving relationship between irascible head vet Siegfried Farnon and his carefree younger brother, Tristan, has long been one of the highlights of Channel 5 hit All Creatures Great and Small.
But as the third series of the 1930s-set drama continues and war is on the horizon, the siblings are set to be challenged like never before. When a moving case this week reminds Siegfried (Samuel West) of his sobering experiences during World War One, could newly qualified vet Tristan (Callum Woodhouse) finally be forced to grow up?
