APOCALYPSE SLOUGH: A MURDER, THEY HOPE MYSTERY

NEW THURSDAY, 9PM, GOLD COMEDY

I nept private investigators Terry and Gemma Bremmer are back for a new feature-length caper in Gold's hit crime-comedy franchise Murder. They Hope and this time, they're dealing with doomsday cults, strange symbols and a rugby club full of oddballs!

Following the success of star-spangled stand-alone specials Murder on the Blackpool Express (2017), Death on the Tyne (2018), Dial M for Middlesbrough (2019) and 2023's Christmas special Blood Actually plus two series of escapades, the latest story sees Gemma (played by Sian Gibson) finally achieving her dream of joining the Serious Crimes Agency.

But her husband and reluctant partner-in-crime-solving Terry (Johnny Vegas) worries that there won't be a place for him in her exciting new life.

Gemma has also been asked to solve a double murder at Berrington Rugby Club, but as she and Terry get stuck into the mystery, they discover some very peculiar behaviour among the members, as well as lots more dead bodies, all bearing the same odd mark somewhere about their person.

Here, Sian, 48, and Johnny, 54, tell us about the 'try-ing' mission to unmask the killer...

So, what lies ahead for Gemma and Terry in Apocalypse Slough?
