SCARED OF THE DARK
NEW SUN-THU, 9PM, C4 REALITY
Over the past few years, Danny Dyer has been busy carving out another niche for himself as a presenter, helming BBC1’s The Wall and Netflix quiz Cheat. Now, the ex-EastEnder is thrilled to be hosting C4’s new reality competition Scared of the Dark.
Airing across five consecutive nights this week, the series sees eight celebrities trying to survive for 180 hours in a specially designed bunker, where they have everything they need – except light! Along the way, they’ll also face some hair-raising challenges.
The line-up comprises presenter Scarlett Moffatt, ex-England footballer Paul Gascoigne, Love Island’s Chloe Burrows, The Wanted singer Max George, blind comic Chris McCausland, Hard Cell actor Donna Preston, plus boxing greats Chris Eubank and Nicola Adams.
‘If they do have the mettle to last until the end, the group will vote for one person to win. It’s terrifying but brilliant telly!’ enthuses Danny, 45, who, here, tells us more…
