DODGER NEW FROM WEDNESDAY 29 NOVEMBER, BBC iPLAYER, & SUNDAY, 4.50 PM, CBBC COMEDY DRAMA
Wily pickpocket Jack Dawkins attempts his riskiest theft to date as CBBC's period caper Dodger returns for a star-spangled seasonal special.
In the right royal edition of the BAFTA-winning prequel to Charles Dickens's Oliver Twist, Jack (Billy Jenkins), AKA the Artful Dodger, teams up again with the infamous Fagin (Christopher Eccleston) and the rest of their gang in a bid to steal the crown of Queen Victoria (Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlan) in the lead-up to her coronation.
But with the police and gung-ho US President Martin Van Buren (Six Four's Toby Stephens) determined to stop them, will Dodger and co succeed in their plan? Here, in an exclusive interview, Billy, 16, tells TV Times why we should hold on to our top hats...
So, how does the crew get involved with the heist?
