Christmas is a lovely time for traditions and local customs, and across Europe no two countries celebrate the festive season in exactly the same way.
This documentary takes us on a spectacular journey, filming the incredible Christmas and New Year events that take place around the continent all from above, starting with the Dartmouth Steam Railway, which is lit up by 2.5km of rope lights each December.
And in Alsace, France, we witness a beautiful floating concert, where schoolchildren sing carols on barges on the city’s canals.
