Last seen in whodunnit series Magpie Murders, London publisher and amateur sleuth Susan Ryeland (Lesley Manville) has upped sticks to run a hotel in Crete since solving the murder of author Alan Conway, creator of fictional 1950s detective Atticus Pünd (Tim McMullan).
But life on a Greek island is not panning out quite as she’d hoped, as she and Atticus are reunited in Moonflower Murders, a follow-up series from Foyle’s War creator Anthony Horowitz.
