When a lifeboat from the Norwegian cargo ship Stolthet washes up on the beach this week, it's a much-needed breakthrough for DC Davis Lindo (Romario Simpson) and DS Lara 'Bart' Bartlett (Hannah Donaldson) and could provide a vital link between the two murder cases they're investigating.
However, all is not well between the cops when Bart learns Davis has been carrying out covert enquiries without informing her, and she can't resist telling her headstrong colleague how his thoughtless actions are affecting her.
'Bart's gunning for promotion at work, so there's tension between them,' says Hannah. 'Davis' unorthodox tactics rile up Bart because they jeopardise the&nbsp;case - and it doesn't help her fight for promotion if things go wrong!'
Convinced the crew of the Stolthet know more than they're letting on, DCI Cora MacMillan (Dawn Steele) gives Bart and Davis the go-ahead to bring Captain Nielsen (The Killing's S&oslash;ren Malling) in for questioning - but events take a shocking turn.
