David Harewood plays an ordinary man whose life is torn apart by a shocking act of violence in the second series of acclaimed BBC1 drama Sherwood.
Set in a Midlands community that still bears the scars from the 1984 miners' strike, the six-part series concentrates on the wave of gun crime that once earned Nottingham the unenviable nickname 'Shottingham'.
The opening episode begins when disillusioned drug dealer Ryan Bottomley (Oliver Huntingdon) commits a deadly attack on one of his rivals, placing his entire family in danger.
