POUT OF THIS WORLD

This Bulgarian influencer's got her lips just how she likes them. Now she's focusing on her cheeks - and she doesn't care what others think of her

POUT OF THIS WORLD

SHE doesn’t have to open her mouth to make a statement – her lips say it all.

Swollen and gleaming pinkly with gloss, they’re her pride and joy and she doesn’t care if people stare at her or tell her she’s mad.

And as for the warnings that her lips could burst if she adds anything more to them – well, let them talk, she says. She’s as healthy as can be and she has no intention of stopping what she’s doing any time soon.

In fact, Andrea Ivanova is on a new mission: to hold the record for the biggest cheeks in the world. She recently became the self-proclaimed record holder of the world’s largest lips, so it’s onto the next big thing now.

The 25-year-old Bulgarian influencer is chatting to YOU from her hometown of Sofia and is delighted to be interviewed by a publication from South Africa.

We initially reached out to her on social media using Google Translate, but she’s happy to be interviewed in English, she says. She loves telling her story and is proud of how she looks.

“I like heavy makeup, big false eyelashes, interesting hairstyles and colourful hair,” she says. “I like extravagant looks, that’s why I changed myself drastically from before.”

Her lips are courtesy of hyaluronic acid fillers, usually used to treat osteoarthritis patients whose joint pain has defied other forms of treatment. She’s been splurging on cosmetic procedures for five years, injecting multiple fillers in her lips, cheeks and chin, among other things.
