SHE’S looked different many times over the years – skinny one minute, heavier the next, long platinum locks this week, short curly bob with bangs the following, here an itty-bitty miniskirt, there a conservative-ish business suit.
But the latest pictures of Jessica Simpson had many wondering whether this really was the singer-actor-business-woman because she looked – well, so un-Jessica Simpson, even for the chameleon she can be.
The person who appears on the cover of Bustle magazine and in a series of photos inside strikes provocative poses and bares plenty of skin. So far, so Jessica.
But her face is so different some mistook her for Julia Fox, the model and actress who once dated Kanye West, while others thought she was YouTube beauty influencer Jeffree Star.
What was going on? Had she gone overboard with Botox and fillers, some asked? And as for her ultra-slender frame – was she on Ozempic, the diabetes drug that’s become the go-to injectable for weight management in Tinseltown and beyond?
“I wouldn’t know this was Jessica Simpson if I wasn’t following her,” one fan said.
Jessica has addressed the speculation about her figure head-on. “It’s not Ozempic,” she says.
“It’s willpower. I’m like, do people want me to be drinking again? Because that’s when I was heavier. Or do they want me to be having another baby? My body can’t do it.”
Jessica (43) has been open about her addiction issues in the past and has admitted to almost “killing myself ” with alcohol and diet pills.
