Chaumet's latest high jewellery collection, En Scene, is imbued with harmony and a sense of movement, encompassing elements of music, dance, and magic -- each piece tells a story, be it through the rhythm of gemstones in Setting the Tempo, the movement of stones in Leading the Dance, or the magical illusions in As If by Magic

Chaumet, the luxury jeweller of 12 Place Vendôme, is renowned for its artistic Vinterpretation of high jewellery. The maison's En Scene collection, launched in June 2024 in Venice, continues to redefine the relationship between art and adornment, presenting a series of masterpieces that evoke music, dance, and magic. The 60-piece collection resembles a stage performance, where gemstones become the characters, movements translate into design, and every piece tells a story. Each piece tells a story, be it through the rhythm of gemstones in Setting the Tempo, the movement of stones in Leading the Dance, or the magical illusions in As If by Magic.

CHAPTER 1: SETTING THE TEMPO MUSIC TRANSFORMED INTO JEWELLERY

The first chapter of En Scène is inspired by the universal language of music. Whether classical or contemporary, music has the power to evoke deep emotions, and Chaumet's designers have beautifully translated this power into jewellery. The collection's musical influence is immediately apparent in its use of rhythm and repetition, with gemstones like emeralds, sapphires, and diamonds orchestrating a visual melody that resonates with sophistication.

At the heart of this tableau is the Sumptuous Score Necklace, an exquisite arrangement of three Colombian emeralds of over 15cts nestled among sapphires and diamonds. The Sumptuous Score necklace reflects the rhythm and flow of music with its vibrant combination of stones. The stones are set in a way that mirrors the flow and tempo of music, creating a dynamic, yet harmonious, composition. This musicality is echoed in matching earrings and a ring, where a 10.73-ct emerald takes centre stage. In this first tableau, the beauty of gemstones is celebrated not just for their brilliance, but also for their symbolic value, representing the notes of a musical score.
