Celesbians (celebrities who publicly identify as lesbians, or more broadly as WLW i.e Women who Love Women) are shining brighter than ever on the altar of the mainstream. From Reneé Rapp serenading a woman on the Coachella stage (after being introduced by the cast of the legendary series The L Word) and Billie Eilish admitting “I realised I wanted my face in a vagina” in an interview, to Kristen Stewart’s supremely sapphic press tour for Love Lies Bleeding, we’ve come a long way from the times when A-listers had to keep their identities hush. On and off-duty, these women are telling it like it is: Yearning, horniness, and all.
