You know, maybe it’s kismet that your Goa plan with friends, always ends up getting cancelled. Apparently, it’s not a pinned-after holiday destination anymore. Travel content creator Ankita Kumar, who goes by monkey.inc on Instagram, agrees. She says, “A friend was recently telling me that the streets of Goa were quite empty during New Year’s. People are not looking at Goa as a holiday destination anymore. Instead, they’re leaning towards offbeat alternatives like Gokarna and Karwar.” Don’t get us wrong; we still love the sunshine state and all that it offers. But travellers are just not feeling it like they used to.
