A lot of people had a lot to say when Hedi Slimane took away the “é” but he has also given plenty to CELINE, least of all, new, distinctive visual signifiers. The one that has become the most recognisable— and the most desirable—is the Triomphe logo. Resurrected from the archives, the Seventies design is inspired by the Arc du Triomphe and today, is shorthand for the brand of cool that Slimane has injected into the Maison. This season, the Triomphe range expands with the addition of the Newspaper bag.
