"Ramble in the Cosmos From Primeval Fireball onward" exhibition co-organised by The National Art Center, Tokyo and Saint Laurent

“When the Sky Blooms with Sakura” was but a prelude to the main event: the launch of Cai Guo-Qiang’s large-scale solo exhibition, “Ramble in the Cosmos – From Primeval Fireball Onward”, jointly organised by the National Art Center, Tokyo (NACT) and Saint Laurent.

The exhibition showcased works that expanded on the artist’s decades-long fascination with the wider universe and the unseen world. Themes explored through the exhibiton include feng shui, astrology, and ancient Eastern philosophies, as well as Cai’s great interest in science, technology and the extraterrestrial.
