Entre ellos, en la calle Tacuba n&uacute;mero 15, para ser exactos, se encuentra una de las joyas de la zona: el Palacio Metropolitano, una casona construida en 1870, obra del afamado arquitecto Jos&eacute; Tellez Gir&oacute;n, mente maestra responsable del Teatro Arbeu. Por fuera, el inmueble se puede llegar a camuflar entre el resto de las impactantes construcciones de la calle, pero al descubrir su interior uno se queda sin palabras. Al acceder por sus fastuosas puertas de encino, la casa presenta un vest&iacute;bulo forrado en m&aacute;rmol definido por unas majestuosas escaleras que marcan el estilo franc&eacute;s de la casona, las cuales desembocan en una antesala principal. Es en parte gracias a su extravagante decoraci&oacute;n, en la que empezamos a observar la riqueza arquitect&oacute;nica de la residencia. Los distintos salones que recorren la antesala, cada uno con una inspiraci&oacute;n particular que llena de encanto la esencia de la casona, te invitan a explorar y perderse en los lujosos aspectos que presumen, como sus lujosos papeles tapices que llenan de color cada una de las paredes o sus fascinantes molduras, talladas con impecable delicadeza. Una de las salas que m&aacute;s llaman la atenci&oacute;n es el Sal&oacute;n Franc&eacute;s, el cual funcion&oacute; originalmente como sal&oacute;n fumador y de t&eacute;.</p>
