TAMBOUR SLIM VIVIENNE JUMPING HOURS SAKURA AND ASTRONAUT
In 2020, Louis Vuitton’s seven-year-old mascot, Vivienne, which must be the most adorable take on the iconic Monogram f lower, made her debut timepiece appearance on a secret watch. Since then, she has graced the Maison’s watchmaking novelties regularly. 2021 saw 12 twirling mini Vivienne’s on the Tambour Spin Time Air, and two years ago, the Tambour Slim Jumping Hours watch revealed the versatile Vivienne to be adept at juggling, fortune telling and gaming. Now, with the release of the latest iterations of Tambour Slim Vivienne Jumping Hours, it ’s clear that Vivienne makes for an outstanding astronaut and a sakura specialist too.
On the Sakura, the Louis Vuitton character is surrounded by cherry blossoms and dressed in pretty pastel pink — a white gold case presents diamond-studded lugs, while a pink mother-of-pearl dial is sand-polished with the “Holomonogram” technique to create gleaming Monogram f lower details. Dressed in a kimono, and armed with a fan and an umbrella, Vivienne is surrounded by cherry blossoms and branches, which were painted by the hands of La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton artisans.
