Filipino designer Ken Samudio’s work is as rich and complex as the depths of the sea that he often mimics. Even as he has a background in science, Samudio has always been a creative at heart. It was Samudio’s father’s dream that he would be a doctor of medicine, but he passed away before the self-taught designer even graduated with a medical degree. That’s when Samudio decided to heed the creative calling he had pushed aside for his father’s wishes.
