In conversation with the choreographer turned Director Bosco Martis and the lead actors Aditya Seal and Nikita Dutta of Rocket Gang.

Choreographer Bosco Martis makes his first foray into film direction with ‘Rocket Gang’.The star cast includes Aditya Seal, Nikita Dutta in the lead roles and supported by Jason Tham, Mokshda Jaikhani, Sahaj Singh Chahal, Tejas Varma, Aadvik Mongia, Jayshree Gogoi, Dipali Borkar and Siddhant Sharma along with many other dance and film superstars in cameo roles. The film emphasises the value of dreams and how mothers can be great sources of inspiration and support in achieving those dreams.

“Rocket Gang”, a dance fantasy comedy, revolves around a group who call themselves ‘dance-loving ghosts’ and start haunting the adults, forcing them to dance for their lives.

“A spooky comedy-dance drama hybrid with enough quirkiness to keep you interested in the story has a social message,” informed Bosco, “and we want to convey it subtly… ‘Nachoge to Bachoge’ yeh tag line kahin par bhi jurhti hai….jab aap depression mai ho aap naach sakte ho, jab aap lonely ho, aap naach sakte hain, jab aap exercise ke mood main ho to aap naach sakte ho.” (This tagline applies to everything; you can dance when depressed when feeling lonely when you feel like exercising).

Bosco had a prolific career in dance but was trying to mount a film. Despite a few other concepts, this one excited him.
