Excerpts from an interview
Your take on changing the luxe bridal industry. How has it evolved?
Bridal industry I believe has always been a luxury segment because its that one occasion of your life when you want to look the best and do not want to leave any stone unturned. But most definitely it has evolved in the sense of the bride's appetite for experiments for her looks. She is ready to explore different color palettes, experiment with jewelry or even the way she will enter the venue... also the options that are available today to the bride to choose from or the peripheral things that can be added are so many.
What should a bride keep in mind as she embarks on the delightful adventure of finding the perfect dress?
Brides today are ready to experiment and are aware of what they want but what i suggest is while picking out your outfit, be sure it's comfortable and let you enjoy the ceremonies... also go for a color palette that enhances your skin tone and makes you look brighter.
What is the mood for bridal couture this year?
Red and heritage craftsmanship is definitely IN and is ruling the trend this year, and brides are ready to go for different tones of this color... also shimmer-shimmer all the way is definitely a trend. Statement-making blouses and waist bands are definitely an add-on that one can have in their wedding outfit.
How was the experience creating the bridal ensembles of Payal and Sangram?
